Join the Lakefield Historical Society for an interesting night of discovery! Tracing ancestors from Lakefield and areas around from the early 1800's.  Families names such as the Nichols, McIlmoyle, Northey, Foster, Strickland and many many more.

• Date: Thursday, May 30th, 2024
• Time: Beginning at 7:00pm
• Location: Upper area of the Lakefield Legion (10 Nicholls Street)
• Cost: FREE (donations welcome!)

The meeting includes an overview of different methods to trace your ancestry, including Family Search, Ancestry.ca, paper records and other government records. Light refreshments will be served. 

Memberships to the Lakefield Historical Society are available for $20 per year!
